Melbournes Andrej Pejić taking over the Modelling World12:54 AM
It all started with Carine Roitfeld, then editor-in-chief of French Vogue, wanting to dress him as a woman for an editorial shoot. “Carine Roitfeld was just like, ‘Put him in Fendi!’ ” Pejic explains.
Now he is taking the modeling world by storm with his androgynous look which allows him to both model as male or female. Since catching his big break this Melbourne based model has worked with fashion houses such as Marc Jacobs, Jean Paul Guiltier and Jeremy Scott. Love seeing Melbournians succeed in the fashion world internationally. But with all that love and success, there will always be a little bit fo hate. his latest ad campaign for Herma Andrej is seen modelling to sell bras which has caused a bit of a stir with some people questioning why they have a male in a womens bras ad. i think he looks fabulous and you can't even tell his gender in the picture. scroll below (red dress) what do you think?
