Outfit : Sydney Harbour Styling MBFF

It may be Fashion Week in Sydney at the moment and although we can't be there I thought it would be the perfect time to post we did with and up and coming Sydney Designer.
This shoot has been in the works for a while now. Ever since i met lovely whitehouse student designer from Sydney Akshita at the Civilian Chavez runway show last year we have been talking about doing a little collaboration for the blog. I remember in the midst of getting model orders ready and designers organised i heard her telling someone the story of how she created the print for her collection. Something about how she got a yellow rose, put it on fire and took photos of it. I love meeting creative people as they are always thinking outside the box so when i overheard that story i knew i had to work with her on a one on one basis somewhere down the track. We kept in contact over the months and agreed that if either on of us came to Melbourne or Sydney that we would organise a shoot. Surely enough Fashion Week in April was the perfect time. She said a lot of her dresses have been used in shoots before so i thought i'd change it up and use her mens pieces in my shoots. I love the detail of this vest. Everything from the print, the leather collar and the zip. I wear a lot of black so i liked how there was other neutral colours mixed in the print to give the overall outfit look more lively. I uploaded up sneak peeks on Facebook a few weeks ago and she was already getting orders. Be on the lookout for this talented lady peeps. She's destined for greatness.

i teamed up the vest with Jeffery Campbell boots, Michael kors watch, House of Harlow ring and my Comme Des Fuckdown beanie (worn backwards)
